I’m not going to come right out and say that extravagences such as these are a sign of the apocalypse. I will, however, imply that this is the case. Thank the Lord above for Boeing and its 787 Dreamliner VIP edition, because we’re all a step closer to meeting Him.
The Boeing 787, in non-VIP trim, is a mid-sized, wide body, twin engined jet airliner currently under development by Boeing’s Commercial Airplanes unit and scheduled to enter service in May 2008. It will carry between 210 and 330 passengers depending on variant and seating configuration. (Thank you Wikipedia for that description.)
Not limited by the making-ends-meet existence that many of us eek out, Joseph Lau, a Japanese important person, paid a hefty $153-million for his custom made airplane. All told, he’s got more than 2500 square feet of cabin space all to his lonesome. You just have to FOLLOW THE LINK for pictures. You ain’t seen nothing like it.
