If there’s one thing we here at TSL know, it’s that all cigars are not created equal. Of course not, you say. Obviously, we’re not talking about dime store Swisher Sweets that are generally used for, uh, other things. Even among fine cigars, you have to take the time to determine your priorities. Smoothness? Slow burning? Do you prefer machine rolled, or are you a purist, and you insist on hand rolled smokes? Put simply, spending a lot on a box of cigars that you’ve never heard of, just because they’re expensive, does not necessarily mean you’re going to enjoy said expensive box of cigars.
Please take a moment to visit Cigar Aficionado to get an idea of what’s out there — the very best of what’s out there. You don’t have to spend a fortune to find the “right” smoke for you, but you may have to spend a bit of time.
I can assure you, once you find the right one, it’s definitely worth the trouble.
