Casino Royale sunglassesOkay, so we’re just a little excited about Casino Royale. So much so that it seems we’re pouncing on every little product tie-in.

But this is something special, we swear. Italian sunglasses veterans Persol have released a limited edition of 200 Casino Royale-themed, tortoise-framed, green-lensed beauties, as worn in the film.

They come with the 007 logo printed on the temple, inside a 007 embossed case, which in turn arrives in a Casino Royale-branded box. Just to nail the association home.

Supposedly available only in the US. But, like, you can get everything online these days, so no biggie.

Fossil O-Ring DigiJust to look at this watch is to realize its beauty. This latest Fossil creation from Philippe Starck is his sleekest and simplest yet. And also the most difficult to read (to the uninitiated).

Around the cut-out centre circle, the current hour is displayed with a simple numeral, while dark segments moving around the watch face denote the minute. There are no visible knobs or buttons and the band is sleek, smooth PU.

We quite like it, and not just for its astonishing $110 price tag.

Twilight Tracer Golf BallsIf you’re still playing golf after sundown, it means one of two things:

  • You’ve been playing for far too long; or
  • You’re so obsessed, you’ll do it anywhere, anytime

Either way, we think you should give up golf and re-asses things.

If you insist, however, at least it seems you’re not alone and golf-mad Australia, even with all its sun, feels your pain. So to save you time hunting through long grass in the dark, some Aussies built some of these (possibly annoying) flashing golf balls.

They’ll stay illuminated for about five minutes after being struck, and will last around 900 whacks.

And may God have mercy on your poor, golf-hungry soul.
