It’s Official, Long Hair is Back
…which is good news for Evan Dando, after a decade of perseverence.
Okay, he might not sport the “rock disco hair” that is back in vogue, but it is great news to hear that styles are moving away from fauxhawks and frosted tips and back towards something a little more natural (and easy to maintain).
Of course, it’s never as easy as just growing it long…
…the trick to long hair is ensuring that it’s lean, as opposed to thick and out of control (basically, you should avoid the thickness often seen on women’s manes). The long hair of 2006 is off the face, hangs until approximately the collarbone, and is long all over rather than very layered.
Well maybe Evan will have to wait a few more years for styles to catch up with him after all, but signs are positive (although he looks fantastic, why would he care?).

More Hot Jackets – the Absinthe Blazer
We apologize if it seems the only fashion items we ever mention are jackets, but it’s just that there’s so many beautiful ones out there.
And this is right up there.
The Absinthe Blazer, from Trovata, is dazzling in its simplicity and informality. Made from brown velvet, the slim cut of the blazer gives it a sleek and suave style, while the patch pockets and prominent buttons keep it casual and cool.
We want this jacket so bad it hurts.

Time to Enrol… In Wine School
If you find a weekend tasting trip or run-of-the-mill wine companion book just isn’t satisfying your thirst for knowledge, then maybe it’s time you considered a diploma.
The Wine School of Philadephia, along with all its tasting lessons and casual courses in winemaking and the world’s wine regions, are now offering a university-level, year-long Diploma Oenotropae.
Remembering some of the fraudulent courses we took as an undergraduate just to make up the minimum hours, and yet all that wine we drank in those years didn’t count for a single point of credit…
